- talented in handling fire
- “real” names are Iowrel (and Scarletia ) but Iowrel sounds far too flowery (*yack*)
- parents are Iowwyn and Iomego
= ophiopogon’s niece
- Lives most of the time at the Library with her uncle, Mr. Fritzz (Ha! Stoat!), Nokiki (lapdog-wolf), Sebast (robin), some mice and bugs and several other creatures

- A boy with a strange name no one can correctly pronounce, “Nathaniel”, often called as Burdock, is her uncle’s apprentice and can be counted as one of the already mentioned creatures

- Even though the scan doesn't show it too well, her skin is darker than for instance Ophiopogon's or even Nathaniel's (though Nathaniel again has darker skin than Ophiopogon). Just wanted point this out to make sure. After all, Nathaniel and Scarletia are in a way "native" to the patch of land they inhabit. Ophiopogon is from... well. Elsewhere.
- Her eyes are dark brown, nearing black by their colour. Fact of hardly importance in no other case than attempting to draw her. : ) To add to the randomness, she'd prefer to have eyes of different colour. Would be the first in the row to buy coloured contact lenses.
- The three lines/marks on her face are scars. She's quite comfortable with them and actually takes her advantage over such an easily identifiable aspect (even though they're pretty faint in reality). Nathaniel has noticed that she tells every each time a different story how she got them. ": D
